Web / PWA

The web client requires no package installation. Open your Leelaa Reader server in a browser and sign in.

Open the web client

http://server-ip:8686

If a domain and HTTPS are configured:

https://reader.example.com

Use your Leelaa Reader server username and password.

Install as a PWA

iPhone / iPad

1. Open Leelaa Reader in Safari;
2. Tap Share;
3. Choose Add to Home Screen;
4. Confirm the name and tap Add.

Android

1. Open Leelaa Reader in Chrome or the system browser;
2. Open the browser menu;
3. Choose Install app or Add to Home screen;
4. Confirm installation.

Desktop

Open Leelaa Reader in a PWA-capable browser. If an install icon or Install app menu item appears, select it and confirm.

PWA or native client?

• PWA is convenient and requires no package installation;
• Native clients provide more complete offline downloads, background playback, and system media controls;
• Browser background playback depends on browser and operating-system policies.

Troubleshooting

If the install option is missing, use Safari on iOS or Chrome on Android and prefer an HTTPS address.
