User Management
User Management is used to create and maintain accounts so progress and favorites remain isolated across users.
Entry Path
- Left navigation -> User Management
Core Actions
- Create regular users: set username, display name, and initial password.
- Edit user profile: update username, display name, or reset password.
- Category access: assign visible book categories to regular users.
Admin Constraints
- The system does not support multiple administrators.
- User Management cannot create an administrator or promote an existing user to administrator.
- The administrator account comes only from first-time initialization and is reserved for configuration and data maintenance.
Notes
- For multi-user households, create separate accounts to avoid progress overwrite.
- Regular users have no category access by default; assign access explicitly.
