Book Detail and Management
Book detail page is both the listening entry and the primary admin workspace for metadata and chapter structure.
User Features
1. Information Display
- Metadata: cover, title, author, narrator, year, and duration stats.
- Description: expandable long summary.
- Reading state:
- Unread: show Start.
- In progress: show Continue with chapter hint and percentage.
- Completed: mark as finished.
2. Interactions
- Add to Favorites: Add the book to your "Favorites" list.
- Resume Listening: Jump straight to where you left off.
- Offline Download: Cache the entire book or selected chapters to your device for offline listening.
- Bookmark Management: View and manage all audio bookmarks for the book, and quickly jump to specific plot points.
- Install to Home Screen: Supports adding the app to your device's home screen, automatically caching resources so visited pages can be accessed offline.
Admin Features
Click top-right Edit to enter admin mode.
1. Metadata Editing
- Edit title, author, narrator, and year.
- Built-in online scraping:
- Search by keyword.
- Import full metadata (cover/summary/author) in one step.
2. Chapter Management
- Drag to reorder chapters.
- Rename chapter titles.
3. Deletion
- Safe Recycle Bin: Deleting a book moves its data to the recycle bin, allowing for easy recovery.
- Original File Safety: Deleting a book will never affect the original audio files on your Cloud drive or NAS.
