The Import & Export entry in Web Profile is currently disabled. Seeing Status unavailable is expected, and library data cannot currently be imported or exported from this page.
Feature Status
This feature was planned for library metadata migration and backup, but it is not available in the current version. Do not rely on this page as a server migration or database backup workflow, and do not prepare archives based on older instructions.
To move a license, use License Transfer. License Transfer handles license state only; it does not move libraries, audio files, or user data.
Planned Use
- Server migration: Move a deployment from an old NAS or server.
- Storage changes: Preserve library records while changing storage paths.
- Metadata backup: Back up database information such as categories, tags, chapter indexes, and listening history.
The planned archive would not contain original audio files or cover images. Availability and final scope will be documented in a future release.
