Smart Chapter Caching
Automatic caching keeps upcoming audio ready so consecutive chapters can start with less waiting. The current strategy keeps the current and next episode after playback begins, reducing unnecessary traffic when chapters are skipped quickly.
Configure the Policy
Open Me -> Downloads and Cache to adjust automatic caching.
- Choose the preferred automatic cache behavior for upcoming chapters.
- Enable Wi-Fi-only caching to avoid unexpected mobile data use.
- Reduce retained content when device storage is limited.
Completed cached chapters can later become eligible for cleanup while playable offline content remains available from the Offline Library.
