WebDAV and Netdisk Mounts
Connects native WebDAV services or cloud-drive bridges to expand an audiobook library.
Choose WebDAV or Netdisk Mode
Use WebDAV Mode for native WebDAV services provided by a NAS, Nextcloud, Jianguoyun, or another self-hosted server. Leelaa Reader can inspect audio headers and durations to build more accurate media information.
Use Netdisk Mode for public cloud drives exposed through a third-party WebDAV bridge. This mode avoids proactive audio-header and duration probes to reduce high-frequency requests that can trigger provider limits.
Connection Settings

After the connection succeeds, browse the remote folders and select the audiobook root directory.
Netdisk Behavior
- Scans use folder and file names instead of reading audio headers.
- A lightweight
metadata.jsoncan provide explicit M4B file bindings and durations. - Audio data is requested only when you play or download a book.
Recommendations
- Mount a specific audiobook directory instead of the remote root.
- Prefer native NAS or hosted WebDAV services when possible.
- Enable Netdisk Mode when a public cloud drive is exposed through a bridge.
